Recently a woman in Georgia ran a truck through an apartment complex and injured a child. The suspect is alleged to have left the scene afterwards. The child suffered minor injuries, but sections of the apartment complex will be unhabitable for at least the next two months while repairs are being made.
Once the truck made impact with the building, many apartment dwellers woke up and notified police. The woman was charged with DUI and hit and run. More forensic evidence and supporting facts are probably needed to support legal claims against the woman for property damage and personal injury.
